  BCC Members,Secunderabad Visit 14 Churches As part of our Lenten programme, we members of the BCC group of Secunderabad planned to visit 14 Churches to make the Stations of the Cross. We gathered at St. Mary’s Basilica on April 1 st at 8 am. where we prayed, reflected on the First Station: Jesus condemned to death and sang the first stanza of Stabat Mater. We then went by Traveller to St.Francis de Sales Parish, Shantinagar for our 2 nd Station: Jesus carries the heavy Cross on his shoulder. Then to St. Cecilia’s Parish, Dayanandnagar for the 3 rd Station” Jesus Falls the first time. Then to St. Joseph’s Church, Maolali for the 4 th Station: Jesus meets his Mother. Then to St. John the Baptist Church, Arul Colony for the 5 th Station: Simon the Cyrianian helps Jesus carry his Cross.   Pauline Cooperators Jubilee Visit to Disabled Home Sunday 30 th will remain forever etched in the minds and hearts of our Pauline Cooperators for it was a visit to another side of the world, where 40 disabled children are taken care by the Camillian Fathers beyond Medchel on the outskirts of Secunderabad. It was truly pitiful to see children lying on the floor and eating because of their inability to sit nor stand. Most of them are blind and crippled. They will never have the joy of playing, going to school, talking, expressing themselves. But the most edifying scenes were the Fathers caring for them as if their own children with such love and tenderness. We were 4 sisters and 8 Pauline Cooperators who travelled together and returned with such a touching experience.   Celebration of World Marriage Day – 2025 On Saturday 15 th of February 2025, the Archdiocese of Hyderabad celebrated the World Marriage Day at St. Mary’s Pharmacy College, Secunderabad. The Theme of the programme was: “Celebration of Endless Couple Love”.   Rev. Fr. Aloysius was the main celebrant. The priests, religious and laity who were celebrating their Silver, Golden and Ruby Jubilee were felicitated. As they arrived they were given the brochure, flowers, the liturgy sheets and the renewal cards. The Family Apostolate team members with Fr. David Francis welcomed the participants and led them to the hall. There were ten priests to con-celebrate the Holy Mass. And around hundred people participated in the programme.   CRI SemiChristmas Celebrations – 2024 (Our program - Spes Non Coufundit) On the 17 th of December, the CRI, Religious priests and sisters organized a semi-Christmas celebration from 5 pm to 8 pm at the hall of St. Anne’s sisters Secunderabad. Each congregation was given a particular type of programme to present. The Cardinal was the Chief-guest and the provincials and Mothers Generals were the special invitees. Among the many programmes we the Daughters of St. Paul got the one on the Holy Year 2025. We had to present the Encyclical, “Spes Non Confundit”. We presented it in the skit form. First the introduction was given, then the presentation of seven scenes of the Signs of Hope, the appeals of hope and the anchors of hope were enacted by three fathers and brothers and the juniors of the Sisters of Charity.                                                             The Jubilee Year – Pilgrims of Hope The Holy Mother Church traditionally proclaims a Jubilee year every 25 years. It is a year of special grace and forgiveness which offers the faithful the opportunity to obtain a plenary indulgence. Pope Francis declared that 2024 would be dedicated to prayer in preparation for the Jubilee.                                 All India United Christians Movement For Equal Rights (AIUCMER)       The All India United Christians Movement for Equal Rights organized an All India Consultation. The meeting began Saturday 26 th October at 3.30 pm at St. Patrick’s high School, Secunderabad. The main person for the meeting was Bro. Jose Daniel, of Montfort Brothers, who has long years of working experience in this Association.   Bro. Jose was chairing the meeting while Sr. Manju C.M. was Co-ordinating the whole programme. There were various eminent speakers speaking on various topics and how the problem of the equal rights for the dalit Christians is pending on over many years.
